Water Fountain

Postby weeshan on Sat Nov 29, 2008 7:34 pm

I made myself a water fountain today. My goals were to make it using the least amount of $$$ possible and to combine the five elements of water, wood, fire, earth and metal together.

In the end, I had everything around the house except for the small submersible water pump which I found at my local feed/pet store. We have bamboo in our yard and I used local river rocks that I had collected.

Here is the end result:

Looks inviting and peaceful. Interesting presentation and use of natural resources.

Hey Shannon,
Not sure how I missed this post before, but great job anyway. I made a fountain without the plants, and after about a week, the water started smelling bad, I added a tiny amount of bleach and it helped for a while. How is it working? Really nice,
Dan
