Postby Joe on Sat Feb 23, 2008 12:34 am

Here are a few stones that stand up for themselves! This is all Happy Camp Jade from Rich.

Don't ask what it is because I don't know. I just made it. It's an old Happy Camp religious totem, yeah... that's it!

I think you are on the right track, Bob. Maybe they are game pieces for a prehistoric Druid monopoly game.

Happy Camp jade

Postby southforkmining on Mon Feb 25, 2008 11:37 pm

Hi guys...let me clue you in to the real uses for Joe's unusual cabs...well if you guys do not know Happy Camp, CA...this is Bigfoot country up here...if you notice all the pieces Joe cut...have a tip..or point...the piece with the hole...if you hold that piece up on noon of the summer equinox...if you hold the piece so that the hole lines up with the sun...and rotate the point to the north...you will be pointing directly at Bigfoot's hidden..SUPER SECRET cave...by then I will have attached the other 3 pieces on Madrone trees about one mile apart...so if you up for it...you line up the pointer piece..to get you started then look for the other Happy Camp Jade pieces attached to Madrone trees....it will be a 4 mile hike..to Bigfoot's cave....from the original pointer..1 mile to each of the 3 others..and then one last mile to Bigfoot's cave...the trick is knowing the spot to start from...you must be at the right point where you align yourself with the pointer with the hole.....more clues soon...to the starting point....Rich..ps..Bigfoot...was originally used as a miner in the Chan Jade mine...when the mine closed..Bigfoot was set free to live in the wild..he is a survivor

Rich, I didn't know Bigfoot was so short. Based on that photo and the door handle height I would estimate his height to be only about 5'-9" or 5'-10" tall. Or is that just a youngen?

Tony...your right on about Bigfoot ( this one ) ...as I stated...he was of the Chan Jade Mine clan....this clan was bred to work in the mines..back in the late 1850's early 1860's ..men were pretty small....since miners do not dig any excess rock the height of the tunnels was quite small...I have to duck to enter them...I am 6 ft.....so this clan was of smaller sized Bigoot's to work the mines...isn't that obvious...others I have met since living here..are much much bigger..they tower over me...both in hieght and width..there are some giants out there...but my pal Petey....is of a smaller clan...by the way this will be my last post on Bigfoot..as we do not want any publicity....Rich

Bob, this is living proof that the first guy hasn't a chance in a progression like this. From Ouija pointers to "Smallfoot" in one thread. :D

Bigfoot is probably a closet Ouija board player.

LOL, good thread. Joe, I love how you think outside the box with the stones you are working with. My fave is the one with the hole.

Tony, being an engineer of course noticed that Bigfoot was awful short. Nothing escapes him. Of course when you are 4 ft 11in like me, everyone is tall so I didnt notice that fact LOL

If you are ever in Rich's neck of the woods you will understand why Bigfoot lives there.....beautiful area. Hey Rich, Im assuming Bigfoot was in your doorway waiting for a food handout like all of the other critters that frequent your yard?

Little Bigfoot ( Petey ) he comes into the house...he likes to eat by the fireplace...I can not leave him outside..he scares all the other wild kids..but he does like to go out on the lounge chair and feed the squirrels peanuts...sometimes he even falls asleep out there..specially if he has a beer..forget..he is napping before he finishes the first one..
