Turquoise Rings

Postby Blarney Stone on Mon Apr 20, 2009 1:38 pm

Since I have some time on my hands after lacerating my finger I thought I would post some pictures. One is a mans ring for a biker cousin of mine who needed it thick and heavy duty. The other is for a friend (old sweat heart). It is made of super quality Fox turquoise. I include my mug in the pictures because I send them to a family member who always wants to see me but lives afar. Thank you.

Hey Blarney,
Those are nice rings. I'm sure your sweet heart (X) will love the ring. What are the reddish stones in the second ring? Great job,
Dan

Thanks Dan, you're the man. The reddish stones are Mediterranean coral. The baby blue turquoise is what the Sleeping Beauty mine is known for. If you look at a picture of the mine you will know why they call it Sleeping Beauty. It looks like the figure of a woman lying down sleeping. Maybe I should post it huh..

That sounds sounds like a cool picture! I've only worked a small amount of coral, noce of the red type. It's a beautiful red color.
