I am planning on slabbing it, I have been told to leave as is, but I love to slab, it is too big for my saw but I have access to a bigger saw in a week. I found it north of Happy Camp, in Northern California.

That is a nice lookin' piece! Congrat's on the find. Yeah!!! Slab it up and make things with it. I like Vesuvianite. Here is a link to a knife I made from a slab of it:
