New Kingsley North catalog

Postby Joe on Mon Jan 21, 2008 11:55 pm

Woo Hoo!! :java

The new Kingsley North catalog arrived a couple of days ago! Ok, so I don't have much of a life and it's below zero outside so this is an event to me.

I love this catalog. They have darn near everything. It may not always be the best price but I love seeing all the color pictures and reading the descriptions of the different tools. I make a wish list each year. Taking the Covington slab saw off the wish list would improve my chances of getting my wish but... As I get more rock working experience each year (a big three years now!) I look at tools that I overlooked the year before. Now I can see uses for these tools and can get excited about trying them out. This year the carving bits and sanding and grinding disks and things have me all wishy. I'll see how the budget goes...

Anyone else a catalog hound?

Joe, I got mine the other day too! I'm just as excited as you are and I have way too much of a live. LOL It took me 9 months to finally get one so it made my day. I get the Rio Grande catalog too but I can't afford anything from that one. That Covington slab saw is a beaut! I have about 30 pages dog eared at this point and that is only from my first trip through the catalog. That number will grow as I really look at it. LOL

I got mine as usual. Lots of nifty stuff that I can't afford (so my wife says) but its still fun to page through it and dream!

Joe,

What I like about it is that its so much easier to find things in the catalog than on the website. I tend to miss things on the website.

Just got mine today. I notice it has some jewelry findings not carried by Fire Mountain. They also have some nice calibrated cabs priced very reasonably.
