New Find ( Green Apphophylite mineral specimens)

Postby harry on Sun Aug 17, 2008 11:58 pm

Hi Yall,

I found a cavity of green apphophylite mineral specimens located at the bottom of a well. The excavation was very difficult as the cavity was hard n could not be removed easily. After two days of hard work we found our booty.

There are many more but these were some of the favourites. Thank you all for looking.

Wow Harry! Those are beautiful!

Is everything in the photos the same mineral? My monitor color is dark and I couldnt tell. The lighter ones almost look like Stilbite.

Thanks shannon.

Yes all are same, Its a combination of green apphophylite with stilbite. The apphophylites are little light green in color.
