My first attempts

Postby tonyterner on Tue Aug 26, 2008 6:44 am

I took a wire wrapping class with the GF last week and this is what we made. They aren't really my style but I was copying some pieces done by the teacher. Since the class I've made two more, which I have photoed yet but will post them when I do. I like doing the wire wraps, I just need to practice more and find my own style.

My first, rainforest jasper.

My second, pet wood I think. This is the only one from a cab that I made.

Her first, black onyx.

Her second, rose quartz.

Next up, silversmith lessons, well someday anyway. Thanks for looking.

Good job Tony,

Its always nice to find something else that you can do with your cabs.

Nice start Tony!!

I'm hoping to find a wrapping class somewhere near me this fall. I have a whole mess of stones I've been setting aside to wrap.

Wow, the first step of that journey of 1,000 miles!

Now go to http://forums.wirejewelryintl.org/tool/mb/wjaintl and join that forum for wire artists...
