Mexican Rainbow Obsidian/Chain mail wrap

Postby weeshan on Sun Dec 07, 2008 12:06 pm

We have a large family so Christmas starts early. This gift was for a cousin. Mexican Rainbow Obsidian wrapped in sterling silver chain mail. The weave was reduced on the outside edges to form a basket for the cab to sit in. The stats: cab 25x18, chain mail-euro 4in1, 22g 1/8"ID.

Rainbow Obsidian is a bugger to photograph! I only had a couple of minutes to get photos before we left but I did manage to get a couple that show the color and pattern.

All of my pieces are marked on the back with a hand hammered "S" which is the first letter of both my first and last name.

Thanks for looking!

Excellent Job,
The Chain Mail really works. How long does it take to make a chain mail wrap? Definitely a good idea.
Thanks for showing,
