Bronsite powder ????

Bronsite powder ????

I am going through some old lapitary stuff I bought a gem show several years ago. One of the small baxes is marked Bronsite 1 1/2 Lbs. on top and BronZite in green pen on the side both hand written. Inside is a bage with some fine brown powder. I have been looking on the net and have not found out what this powder is for. I assumne that it is a polishing medium of some kind. Can some one help out.

Funny. Wish I could help, but any more people keep giving me stuff like that, have about a dozen containers of bizarre stuff I don't know the purpose for. Abrasives of one sort or another. Some are kind of pretty, one is pale clear green crystals.

I asked someone-who-should-know about this at a rock show this week, and he doesn't know of any practical use for it.

It sounds like this may be the material that the new Bronze Metal Clay is made out of. I'm going to the PMC Conference in mid-July. I'll post if I find out anything. Beyond the world of PMC, I have no idea what it would be used for.
