Hi Steve,
I have some rough Basonite I collected l collected earlier this summer, I haven't really cut much, but would be happy to trade some rough, or if you give me some time, I can slab some. what I did slab it was Black with lighter black swirls in it, almost can't see the swirls, but they look good. I can get lots of it. Let me know if I can help,
Dan

Hey Dan...........sorry to bump in on this post but I could use some Basonite for my doublets.....the darker the better. If you dont mind setting some aside for the next box you send me.

Thanks,
Shannon ('-'*)

No Problems Shan,
I can walk down to the river from here and get a pick up load in a half a day or so, it is pretty much everywhere in the river gravels, I've seen boulders that must be 500 pounds out there. I will set some aside for you.
